Some days, cooking just isn’t on the table — but that doesn’t mean you’re stuck with a sad lunch. These Steak Sandwiches use pre-cooked sliced sirloin (I use this one from Costco!) to build a high-protein meal that’s satisfying, fast, and packs way more flavor than your average cold sandwich.

Eat it cold right out of the fridge, or toast it up if you want something warm. Either way, you’re eating well with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 200g Costco Sous Vide Sliced Sirloin

  • 2 ciabatta rolls

  • 2 slices Havarti cheese

  • 1–2 tbsp garlic aioli (to taste)

  • 1 cup arugula & spinach mix

Instructions

1. Prep the Base
Slice your ciabatta rolls. Toast them if desired for extra crunch.

2. Add Your Fillings
Layer with washed greens, sliced steak, a slice of Havarti, and a spoonful of garlic aioli. That’s it — you’re done.

3. Optional Heat-Up
The steak is fully cooked, so you can eat it cold. But if you prefer a warm sandwich, toss the sliced sirloin in a hot pan for 2–3 minutes to warm through.

Recipe Tips

  • Flavor boost: If you’ve got a little bit of extra time and feel like dirtying a pan, sautéed onions or mushrooms are a great addition to this sandwich.

  • Make it a meal: Pair with a piece of fruit or baby carrots to boost fiber and volume.
