Meet Monica
Monica, 42 | Food Freedom & Getting Strong
Monica came to coaching carrying something a lot of moms can relate to - years of diet culture messaging that had quietly taken the joy out of food. For her, the casualty was baking. What had once been a source of peace and connection with her kids had become something that felt off-limits, wrapped up in fear around sugar and calories. She still had the passion. She'd just stopped letting herself act on it.
When we started working together, the goal wasn't to overhaul her life - it was to untangle the noise. We rebuilt her relationship with food from the ground up, normalizing desserts and dismantling the all-or-nothing thinking that diet culture thrives on. On the fitness side, we kept things realistic: short, effective workouts designed to fit her real life, not some idealized version of it. The focus shifted from restriction to strength, and from rules to confidence.
A few months in, Monica was significantly stronger and more importantly, she trusted herself. She didn't need external structure to show up anymore.
But the real turning point? She started baking again, for fun, the way it was always meant to be. That reclaimed joy grew into something she never expected: she launched a baking Instagram and began selling her goods.
In her own words: "Thanks again for all that you do and shifting (stubborn) mindsets around food and fitness."
