Amazon Prime Day Deals

You definitely don’t need to spend money to make your goals a reality - but there are some pretty cool things out there that are nice to have. If you’re looking to build up your home gym, make meal planning a breeze, or simply like the adrenaline rush of buying new things, here are my Amazon Prime Day recommendations.


Just a heads up, I use the chrome extension ‘Honey’ to check price history so you know you’re getting a good deal. Too many companies will spike prices up the day before Prime Day and then bring them back to baseline so it looks like you’re getting a crazy deal. That’s why I’ll be sharing both current price as well as “normal” price.

Gym Finds

Powerblocks (5 - 100lbs) - $439 (normally $549)

I know what you’re (probably) thinking - “ONE HUNDRED POUNDS?? I don’t need that much weight!”

I hear ya. But you’re stronger than you think. And you’ll certainly need more than 20 lbs - especially for your legs / glutes / back.

I would’ve shared the 5-50 lb set but it isn’t a special deal for Prime day - it’s the standard price. I personally have Bowflex adjustables and love them - but they also aren’t on a deal.

Powerblocks (5-50 lbs) - $288 (normally $360 with frequent sales of $288)

And if you’re looking for 5-50 lbs, these are “on sale” - sort of.

But they have sales on this pair frequently so don’t feel like you’ll miss out if you don’t buy these during Prime Day. (120 day price chart attached)

FitBit Charge 6 - $100 (normally $150)

Whether it’s a FitBit, Garmin, or Apple Watch - it’s nice to track steps. Steps are one of the ways we track general activity and people who have higher step counts have a lower risk of all-cause mortality (PMID: 34417979).

Walking Pad - $110 (normally $145)

This is the lowest cost walking pad I’ve ever seen. Usually these are $150 - $250. A few notes from reviews - 1.) it doesn’t have an emergency pull-stop lanyard thing and 2.) it has to be controlled with the remote. Most I’ve seen have a remote but can also be controlled by pressing buttons on the unit. Maybe shop around a bit if you’re looking for one of these - but this is the cheapest one I’ve seen and it’s on a good sale. And see above for why steps are so important.

Seriously, a walking pad is the cheat code most people need to improve health and weight loss.

Ergonomic Rope Attachment - $23 (normally $30)

The “standard” rope attachment for cables has a hard plastic knob at the end. When I’m doing hammer curls or some extensions, that can hurt my fingers. This attachment was recommended by a friend and it’s been my go-to for all of my cable hammer curls. Not a need by any means - but one I’m very happy I got.

Wrist Straps - $5 (normally $10)

If you do any kind of deadlift (romanian, stiff, conventional, sumo, etc.) or any kind of pulling movements (pulldowns, pull ups, rows, etc.) - you should probably be using wrist straps.

When our grip is the limiting factor, we aren’t working our legs/back as hard as we could. We are leaving gains on the table.

Grab wrist straps, throw ‘em on for your leg/back days, and enjoy the improved gains.

Bose Headphones - $200 (normally $350 with the occasional sale price of $250)

This is an insane deal honestly. I have Bose headphones and have had them for years now - still work great. If you go to a public gym, you know how crucial it is to have a pair of headphones so you’re not listening to the same 5 Katy Perry songs on repeat.

They also have these in green, blue, and black (although black is slightly more expensive). I love the green the most.

Kitchen Finds

Meatr 2 Plus - $104 (normally $130)

A wireless meat thermometer that gets you the perfect cook, every time. Stick it in your meat, start cooking your meat, and this device will send an alert to your phone when it’s time to pull it off based on your preferences (it even accounts for the additional temp increase while resting). The original doesn’t work on the grill (not heat resistant enough) - this one does.

Ninja Air Fryer - $149 (normally $199)

Air fryers are so incredibly useful. Chicken, salmon, leftover pizza - there’s nothing the air fryer can’t do. This one in particular is cool as it has two separate baskets and a built-in meat thermometer!

Rubbermaid Glass Containers - $30 (normally $38)

One of my go-to tips for weight loss / nutrition clients - keep fruits/veggies prepped in the fridge, at eye-level, in a clear container. This increases the likelihood that you’ll snack on a nutrient-dense option like berries rather than grabbing a handful (or two) of chips. I’ve also been making the slow switch from plastic to glass (caution for microplastics), especially if I’m reheating stuff.

Ninja Creami - $150 (normally $170-$200)

Turn anything into ice cream. This thing is genuinely a gamechanger for my fat loss phases. I make high protein ice cream nearly every night. I have recipes on Instagram and YouTube if you want to check those out before buying - but this honestly has my highest recommendation.

Miscellaneous

Kindle - $85 (normally $98)

Nighttime reading used force me to use one of those little book light clamps. Not super convenient. And poolside reading? I was either preventing the book from getting wet or pages from blowing in the wind. Look I’m not trying to sell you on a Kindle necessarily, but they are nice.

And did you know you can get free Kindle books with a library card?! I just got a library card last week and my mind was blown.

Dyson Cordless Vacuum - $300 (normally $350 ish)

I heavily debated putting this one on here. This has bounced between $300 and $460 the last few days (I assume to trick Prime Day shoppers into thinking this is a massive deal). Ultimately, I decided to put in on this list as 1.) we have it and love it and 2.) the most common price has been $350 over the last 120 days. $300 is the lowest it’s ever been.
