Do you eat cereal? Add protein to it!

Do you or your kids eat cereal? Have you wondered - how do I make cereal healthier and more delicious?

If so, adding a scoop of protein to the milk can drastically improve the nutrient composition. One scoop of whey protein is roughly 20g (depending on the protein/source). As shown in the video above, I’d highly recommend mixing the milk and protein in a shaker FIRST, then adding it to the bowl of cereal.

And by the way, if you’re unsure what protein to use - I used Myprotein Impact Whey Vanilla here, although I think you could experiment with the flavor. I’d definitely recommend some kind of whey over casein for this specific use (casein is fine and I use it nearly daily, but doesn’t have the same consistency).

And finally, shameless plug - if you want to try out any Myprotein products, I’m sponsored. Might as well make a buck here right? Click this link to get me commission and use code ‘ALEXTMYP’ for a 40%+ discount. Thanks and enjoy!

By the way, if you’re curious about the calories / macros of that meal, here they are! Pretty great macros for a pre-workout meal or just a general breakfast. I use MacroFactor to track all my nutrition and weight and luckily I’m also sponsored by them. Use code "ALEX” at signup for a free two week trial. This code also supports me financially, so… thanks.
